For our English-speaking friends: Antique german beer stein with faceted glass and pewter lid made during the 1880's. The pewter lid is engraved Weigand, and the facted glass has a mark for the 0.40l (0.85 pinte). It's stamped on the bottom AB. Good condition no chips or cracks or repair.8 1/8" high 3 1/2" diameter without handle.
