Vase cornet à l'Impératrice en cristal taillé monté bronze sur socle de marbre rouge griotte de France, vers 1860. Le cornet de cristal est taillé à main levé sans doute la manufacture de Clichy. Le bronze est ciselé sur toutes faces, dorure d'origine à deux couleurs. L'ensemble est en très bel état, micro égrenures sur le marbre. L'Impératrice Eugénie avait commandé qu'on lui copie les pièces des plus grands du siècle passé. Hauteur 52 cm, diamètre 18 cm.

For our English-speaking friends: Large horn vase in cut crystal gilt engraving bronze footed with red griotte French marble around 1860. The cut cristal is probably fron Clichy factory. The bronze foot is engraving on all side and has its original gilt. The Eugenie empress want reproduction of the best artist from the last century. Perfect condition. 20"1/2 high 7"1/8 diameter.
