Perruquier d'homme en sulfure sur jambe et pied vers 1850-1880, surement de la verrerie de Meisenthal en Alsace Lorraine. Inclosions d'oxydes et de bulles d'air sur fût tourné, trace de cane sous le pied polie au feu, et pontil meulé sur le dessus. Très bel état. Hauteur 12.6 cm, diamétre 7.2 cm.

For our English-speaking friends: Rare French crystal footed paper weight made by the famous Meisenthal factory between 1850 - 1880. This paperweight consists of four ice-pick style flowers arranged around a central flower. Each flower is fashioned from polychrome glass bits and has a controlled bubble in the center. The overall construction has two levels of polychrome bits. There is one facet on top. You can see similar paper weight on the Brackel's book. Perfect condition. 5" high and 2"3/4 diameter. We list another paper weight that it can be make pair with this one.
