Vase en ceramique de Louis Dage, vers 1925. Barbotine des arts décoratfs à émaillage épais d'or et améthyste, sculptée d'anémones du Japon. Très bel état. Hauteur 11 cm, largeur 10.5 cm, profondeur 10.5 cm. Louis Dage et Louis Fontinelle, tout deux céramistes, fonde en 1920 une faïencerie à Antony, dans les Hauts-de-Seine, à l'époque ou Fontinelle le malchanceux se sépare de lui alors que Louis Dage se prépare à travailler pour la décoration du paquebot Normandie.

For our English-speaking friends: Vase in French majolica made by the famous Louis Dage artist around 1925. Ceramic from Art Deco with deep ametist and gold enamels is Japanese anemone shaped. Perfect condition. It's signed on the bottom. 4"1/4 high 4"1/8 width 4"1/8 depth. Louis Dage worked for the decoration of the Normandy ocean liner.
