En pendant, un secrétaire et son semainier de style Louis XV en marqueterie de bois de rose, vers 1930. Le chiffonnier est un vrai semainier, il a sept tiroirs; montés à queue d'aronde. Ils sont ornés de marqueterie en fougères à filets buis mouvementés et agrémentés de bronze à décor de peaux. L'abattant du secrétaire est fleuri d'un bouquet. L'abattant du secrétaire est très légèrement voilé et l'angle inférieur droit supportant le pivot est accidenté. Ils sont recouverts d'un marbre de brèche dit"brocatelle" mouluré d'un bec de corbin. Ils sont dans l'état vernis au tampon d'origine et quelques petits manques de placage. Hauteur 128 cm, largeur 76 cm, profondeur 43 cm.

For our English-speaking friends: Rare French secretary and chest of drawers making a pair in Louis the 15th style with rosewood inlayed with marble top made around 1950. The inlayed pattern shows bunch of flowers on geometric inlayed background. The pair is ornate with gilt bronze and has a marble top. They have their 2 original keys and their French polish. Good condition only a few small parts of inlaid are missing and the right bottom of the flap of secretary needs to be repaired as you can see on the pictures below.50"1/2 high 29"7/8 width 16"7/8 depth.
