Boite à ouvrage dite de la forêt noire, en bois de feuillet de peuplier, ajouré et découpé, vers 1910, travail  de layetier. Elle possède encore sa serrure. Elle a perdu son pied et nous avons plusieurs des morceaux manquants, elle est un peu piquée. Hauteur 46.5 cm, largeur 50 cm, profondeur 34.5cm.

For our English-speaking friends: Antique black forest sewing box in poplar made around 1910. The cut work is all hand working. It has its original lock. Unfortunately not in perfect condition the foot is missing and a few parts of wood are missing as you can see on the pictures below.18¼" high 19¾" width 13½" depth.
