Assiette aux papillons en porcelaine d'Imari, célèbre port de la province d'Arita, connu pour ses siècles d'exportations vers l'occident. Née au XVIII° siècle pour l'Europe, pressée à la main en pâte fine. Les bleus et le vert sont sous glaçure, l'émaillage est très dur, la bordure dentelée. Elle est en bon état, sonne très bien. Diamètre 22cm.

For our English-speaking friends: This scalloped plate has been made by the famous Imari manufacture during the beginning of the18 th century. The hand painting pattern has a great color of Imari, the blue and green are under glaze, the fine paste is hand pressed and moulded easily discernible to the touch. Good condition, no chip, no crack, no hairline or repair, it rings very well. 8"1/2 diameter.
