Vase boule de la manufacture Henriot de Quimper, vers 1940. Il est en faïence à fond rosé, habillé de deux anses, en médaillon : une bretonne en costume traditionnel. Très bon état, une égrenure d'origine. Hauteur 14.5 cm, diamètre 13.5 cm.

For our English-speaking friends: Ball vase in French handpaint'd majolica made by the famous Henriot factory in Quimper during the 1940's. The handpainted pattern depicts a young Bretonne in traditional costume in medallion surrounded by a sponging corbeille decor on a rose background. Perfect condition. It's signed on the back Henriot Quimper with a drawer mark. 5"3/4 high 5"1/4 diameter.
