For our English-speaking friends: This rare advertising plate has been for Locronan by the famousmanu HB Quimper facture near Quimper in 1903. The hand painting pattern show a sail stamp for the sealing boat of the King going to India. On the back, you can read. With this stamp the weavers in this house made stamp their seals on the sailing boats of the King, swollen they are going on the India company way. Perfect condition, signed Locronan on the back. Diam 8"1/2.
