Service à cidre de Paul Fouillen de son premier atelier de la Place du Styvel à Quimper, période Art Déco, vers 1930. Il est composé d'un grand pichet, de six bocs et d'un plateau bois. Toutes les pièces de céramique sont peintes main de bretons de diverses régions dans un estaminet, cerclées de cuivre pour maintenir leur poignée de bois tourné. Le plateau de bois s'est courbé avec le temps. Bel état, quelques égrenures sur le bec du pichet. Pichet: hauteur 16 cm, diamètre 9.5 cm. Boc: hauteur 9 cm, diamètre 6 cm.

For our English-speaking friends: Extremely rare cider set in french majolica and wood made by the famous Paul Fouillen when it was in his first studio street Styvel in Quimper during the 1930's Art Deco period. The set is made up with 6 cup one pitcher and a wood carving tray with handles. All the cups and the pitcher have a medallion with portait of breton in traditionnal costume in café. All the medallions are different. The faience of the cup and pitcher are mounted with copper and wood handle. All the pieces are signed P Fouillen in front in medaillon and on the back P Fouillen Quimper. Good condition,the cup are in perfect condition no chips no cracks or hairlines, the pitcher has small chips on the lip as you can see on the pictures below. Dimensions for the pitcher 6"1/4 tall 3"3/4 width and for the cup 3"1/2 high 2"3/8 diameter.
