For our English-speaking friends: Scottish kilt pin probably from the Hay clan in solid gold not hallmarked with cutting amethyst made around 1840. On the top of thistle the setting amethyst measures 13 mm. Good condition only a part of the chain is missing. 9 cm high overall.
