Vierge Marie de Haute-Savoie en barbotine. Ce travail populaire a été réalisé dans l'atelier de Saint Jorioz, canton sud d'Annecy. Modelée et peinte à la main sur cru, elle est signé sur son fond. Le potier de la manufacture était tourneur chez Henriot vers 1949, avant de s'installer à Annecy. Hauteur 20 cm, diamètre 9.5 cm.

For our English-speaking friends: This Virgin Mary in French Majolica has been made in the Saint Jorioz factory near Annecy in Alps. She is hand shaped and hand painting and signed on the bottom. This artist was the only turner for Henriot factory in 1949 before he leave for Annecy in Savoy. 7"7/8 tall 3"6/8 diameter. Perfect condition, no chips, no cracks, no hairlines.
