Pichet au décor dit au "serin", de la manufacture de Puente del Arzobispo, berceau de la majolique de Tolède. Cette faïence espagnole a été exécutée et peinte à la main à la fin du XVII° siècle. Bonne patine, excellent état et signé sur son fond. Hauteur 19 cm, diamètre 13.5 cm.

For our English-speaking friends: This majolica pitcher has been made by the famous Puente del Arzobispo manufacture in Spain around the end of the 17 century. The hand painting pattern shows a canary in great tradition of the Tolede majolica. Perfect condition, it's signed on the back Puente del Arzobispo. 7"1/2 tall, 5"3/8 diam.
