For our English-speaking friends: This tray in guava wood with mother of pearl has been made in southeast Asia around 1850. In front it is hand carving with engraving mother of pearl inlayed depicting a traditional scene of warriors surrounded by flowered pattern. On the back it is hand carving with flowers and fruits of squash. Good condition a few small pieces of mother or pearl and two pieces of wood are missing as you can see on the last pictures below. 17" by 10"3/4.
