Le poinçon de garantie est la tête de Minerve sur bigorne, 1er titre des gros ouvrages en service depuis le 10 mai 1838, soit 950gr d'argent pour 1000. Poinçon de maître orfèvre H G avec une tour au milieu. Dans l'état, quelques bosses et taches à l'intérieur. Hauteur 8.4cm, diamètre 6.8cm.

For our English-speaking friends: Antique French tumbler or goblet in French sterling silver made around 1880. The plate of the JVL monogram has been refilled and numbered on the bottom when the tumbler became a boarder goblet. It is marked with the single head of Minerva in an octagonal cartouche which has been used from 1838-present and stamp of Master Silversmith HG with tower in the middle. 3"1/2 tall 2"1/2 diameter. Good condition a few small shock and stain.
