Pot à lait ou à eau en forme de nautile reposant sur un lit d'algues du service à thé réalisé par Germain Bapst et Lucien Falize en 1889. L'original au Musée des Arts Décoratifs à Paris. Edition de la maison Falize, Lucien s'associe à Germain Bapst pour la réalisation d'un service à thé inspirée d'un dessin d'Hokusai, issu de l'influence grandissante qu'exerce l'art décoratif japonais sur l'art occidental de la fin du XIX ème siècle. Hauteur 14.5 cm largeur 15 cm.

The original tea set is in the French Art Deco museum in Paris. Edition of the Falize studio Lucien Falize works with Germain Bapst for the creation of this tea set inspired by a drawing of Hokusai from the influence of the Japanese decorative art at the end of the 19th century. 5"3/4 (14.5cm) high 6" (15cm) width. Good condition a few small worn on the seaweed.
